Parents and students, when you see two teacher’s names with a class, it means the students will be taught by both instructors for technique training, movement and choreography. On the Wednesday Jr/Sr Tap, the first hour is taught by Miss Sam, the second hour taught by Miss Patty. The remaining duel instructed classes, will be taught by rotating instructors every other week, or teaching a quarter at a time for choreographic purposes.
Please be aware, while it is not required, we strongly encourage every student to participate in our end of the season Dance Artistry Performance. Classes have been designed for students to continue to train even if they don’t wish to be in Dance Artistry. However, if the commitment is made to be in the show, dancers must be present for choreography.
Two consecutive absences, (missing twice in a row) in any choreography section of any class will result in elimination from that section of the choreography. A third consecutive absence will eliminate the student from that piece of choreography entirely.
**Senior/Junior/ Jr Trainee Performance Training and Choreography class
Student’s must be placed in this class by JJ and are required to perform 2 – 4 times throughout the year. Consecutive absences from choreography time will dismiss a student from being in that piece of choreography. This class is designed for highlighting training students in choreographed pieces to be performed throughout the dance season at different venues in Bonita Springs and Naples (i.e. festivals, fund raisers, country clubs). The choreography taught will include many dance styles and genres.
